Have you even wanted to penetrate the Chinese market and reach the consumer but couldn’t afford the time and expense to build your sales infrastructure in China?  Well, this may be the opportunity that you have been seeking.  Alibaba’s Jack Ma was in NY to open a direct market and sales channel via his internet platform.  He says that he is not like Amazon or Ebay but rather a platform to help U.S. and other international companies reach the Chinese market. That’s why Ma is here this week, visiting New York and Chicago, in an effort to talk about the potential buying power of China’s middle class consumers, a group that is anticipated to grow to 630 million by 2022. It’s a giant growth opportunity for both American businesses and his e-commerce company.“My purpose in coming here is we need to bring more American products to China,” Ma said this afternoon in a luncheon keynote for the Economic Club of New York at the Waldorf-Astoria New York.
